Jakarta, 6 Ramadan 1435/4 July 2014 (MINA) – The President of Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) instructed to keep security during the campaign of presidental election which getting warm nowadays.

“The national political situation getting warm , but actually social relation of public society still under control,” said SBY in press conference in his office, recently.

According to the government official website (presidenri.go.id) there is a fears from various party inside and abroad regarding recently situation.

SBY stated, the issue caused by the power of both presidential candidates.

President asked police as a state security guard working hard to ensure presidential election running safely, both in voting day (July 9) and after the moment.

The president issued seven instructions to the polices, First, do not underestimate the situation.
“We have to ready facing various possible event, may Allah help us making conducive situation. If there is any chaos, we have to ready to handle it,” said SBY.

Second, police have to standby and keep continue carrying out security operation.

Third, preventing all forms of law violation relating presidential election.

“We have to fair and neutral, but we will not tolerate to violance action” said SBY.

Forth, police have to help electoral commission if there any violations, especially crimes, money politic and intimidation to voter.

Fifth, police have to coordinate with related parties electoral commission, local government, and media).

Sixth, President instructed the Minister of Law, Political and Security to lead and control directly all security operations.

Seventh,” I will monitor the voting process. , I’ll give my instructions if needed,” said the President . (T/Syt/R1/P04).
