Rector of the University of Bakht Alruda Sudan Visits Ponpes Al-Fatah Lampung

South Lampung, 7 Jumadil Akhir 1438/8 January 2017 (MINA) – Rector of the University of Bakht Alruda in Sudan, Prof.Dr.Gadalla Abdullah Elhassan visited the Al-Fatah Islamic Boarding School (pondok pesantren) in Negararatu Natar, South Lampung, on Thursday in a reciprocal visit after the Ponpes’ Founder Yakhsalah Mannsur made a trip to the university in September 2016.

Dr.Gadalla Abdullah Elhassan explained that his arrival in Indonesia is at the invitation of the Makassar-based Muhammadiyah University and Yakhsyallah Mansur.

In his speech in front of hundreds of students he advised the students that they should cling to the rope of God, the holy book Qur’an,  so that Almighty God provide ease and smoothness on every step they take in the future.

“They must obey the command of God contained in the Qur’an and have perseverance in their studies. Like a building, it would be solid if it has a strong foundation”, he said.

According to him, the students here will be waving the banner of Islam.

“You will carry the banner of the glory of Islam, and you are the one who will get the glory of Islam. But this can not be achieved without studying in seriously, “he said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Islamic High School (STIA) Al-Fatah, Wahyu Iwa Sumantri told Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) on the same occasion that the cooperation between the Al-Fatah Boarding School with University of Bakht Alruda Sudan has been conducted since 2013.

The agreement was followed by sending students to study in the master and doctoral programs.

Established in 1997,  University of Bakht Alruda is one of universities under the Sudan’s Ministry of Colleges and Research. (L/R04/RS04)
