Pilgrims Head to Mount Arafat to Perform Hajj Grandest Ritual

Muslim pilgrims head to Mount Arafat ahead of the hajj main ritual in the holy city.

Arafat, MINA – Pilgrims headed Thursday to Mount Arafat in Makkah to perform Hajj’s most important and grandest rite.

Hajj pilgrims are expected to stay in the area until sunset before heading to Muzdalifa.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), top security and medical officials in the Kingdom,
have supervised and inspected all measures aimed at facilitating pilgrims’ movements and ensuring their safety during this day of extreme devotion and prayers.

After leaving Mount Arafat, pilgrims are expected to stay in Muzdalifa until early Friday, which will be the first day of Eid Al-Adha. (T/RS5/RS1)
