Manila, 13 Ramadan 1436/30 June 2015 (MINA) –  The President of Islamic Da’wah Council of the Philippines (IDCP) Haji Abdurrahman RT Linzag said,  although the Filipino Muslims are in a minority, but their  halal products are reliable in the world.

Linzag said it in the meeting with the delegation of Indonesian Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah)  in its headquarters, Manila,  Monday (29/6).

According to Linzag, the Philippines is now to becoming one of the Halal Certification Center in the world. Many factory ask for certification.

The Muslims in Philippine only 8.5% of the total population. But Alhamdulillah we become one of halal certification center in the world, “said Haji Abdurrahman RT Linzag, who has served as Secretary General of the World Halal Council (WHC) 2008-2010.

Philippines halal products now become one of the main food and medicines products, especially to be exported to Middle East countries.

 

The Indonesian delegation who visited Philipine will be there for a week, led by KH Yakhsyallah Mansur, MA, the chief of  Al-Fatah foundation, based in Bogor, West Java. (L / Imt/R03)
