Gaza, 4 Jumadil Akhir 1438/3 March 2017 (MINA) – A youth delegation left the blockaded Gaza Strip on Friday morning via the Rafah border-crossing, on way to Egypt.

The Gaza delegation headed to Ain Soukhna resort, in the Suez Governorate, lying on the western shore of the Red Sea’s Gulf of Suez, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.

Akef al-Masri, accompanying the delegation, said the visit comes under the invitation of the Middle East Studies Center in an attempt to prop up the fraternity bonds and mutual cooperation between the Palestinians and the Egyptians.

“The delegation’s visit comes as an implementation of the recommendations of a conference held in Ain Soukhna sometime earlier,” added Akif.
