Kills Palestinian, An Israeli Soldier Sentenced

Jerusalem, MINA – An Israeli soldier was found guilty of violating his authority and sentenced to work as a “community service” for a month, Safa reported on Wednesday, October 30.

The soldier admitted that he shot a Palestinian teenage boy, 16-year-old Othman Hilles, during his participation in a demonstration demanding a return and ending the blockade in July 2018, without any orders to do.

The sentence is the first time an Israeli soldier has committed an offense, since demonstrations broke out on the eastern border of Gaza Strip in March 2018.

The suppression of occupation forces against the participants has caused the death toll to 314 people, including 61 children, and more than 33 thousand were injured. (T/Sj/P2)
