Tel Aviv, 20 Dzulqa’dah 1435/15 September 2014 (MINA) –The annual report of UN trade and development conference revealed that Israel steals publicly the natural resources of West Bank, depriving Palestinians from their revenues costs $3,5 billion annually.

The national office explained in a news letter that Israel concurred 62% of West Bank lands, which are lands and natural resources, and deprived Palestinians from using them.

It also reported that Israel uses 39% of C area lands for building illegal settlements and 20% for built military bases. It also pointed that Israel allocated 13% of C area for establishing natural reserves, ALRAY Palestinian Media Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting

Calcalist , Hebrew business newspaper, said that the Israeli Land Authority marketed a total of 2,300 housing units in settlements in the West Bank since the beginning of the year; an increase of more than 10-fold from last year.

The report pointed out that Netanyahu’s government sent a clear message that it is pushing ahead with its settlements projects despite of the international community warnings.

In the last two weeks, Israel confiscated thousands of Palestinian lands in Bethlehem, to the south of west Bank, for the benefit of expanding Gush Etzion settlement.

It also issued an order of confiscating 2000 acres of field lands in Yatta.

Report issued by Adva center ” Inequality in Central Government Transfers to Municipalities” noted that over the last two decades, the population of Israel has grown by sixty percent. The greatest rate of growth – 240 percent, was registered in the settlements.

Israel accelerates its plans of settlements to take over most of C areas, shifting it to a fact that could not be negotiated in any future peace talks. (T/P002/P3)
