Jakarta, 03 Muharram 1438/03 October 2016 (MINA) – Indonesia’s inflation accelerated to 3.07 percent in September on annual basis, from 2.79 percent recorded in the previous month, a senior official at the national statistics agency said here Monday.

“We expect inflation will be in check within the next three months, so that the target of inflation (this year) can be achieved,” Xinhua quoted Suharyanto as telling press conference at the agency’s office.

He added that core inflation in September was recorded at 3.21 percent, lower than 3.32 percent recorded in the previous month.
