Indonesia’s Election Commission to Set Elected President on Sunday 30 June

Jakarta, MINA – Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) will hold an open plenary meeting on Sunday, June 30 2019 for the determination of Joko Widodo and Ma’ruf Amin as elected president and vice president in 2019 Presidential Election.

“The open plenary meeting to determine the elected president would be held at 15.30 kocak time, and finished at 17.00,” said Chairman of KPU, Arief Budiman, in his written statement on Friday, June 28.

According to Arief, KPU invited Bawaslu, Election Organizing Honorary Council (DKPP), Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin, Prabowo-Sandi, and political parties.

He stressed that the invitation for each candidate was also given as 20 pieces.

Previously, on Thursday the Constitutional Court rejected all lawsuits for the dispute over the results of 2019 Presidential Election, which were submitted by Prabowo-Sandi legal team. (T/Sj/P2)
