Indonesian Military TNI Celebrates 74th Anniversary at Halim Air Base

Jakarta, MINA – The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) today, Saturday (5/10) celebrate its birthday at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, East Jakarta. The celebrations were enlivened by exhibitions mostly owned by the TNI for the people.

President Joko Widodo was accompanied by TNI Commander Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto along with Kasad General Andika Perkasa, Kasal Admiral Siwi Sukma Adji, and Air Chief Marshal Yuyu Sutisna led the 74th TNI Anniversary Ceremonial Ceremony with the theme “TNI Professional Pride of the Citizen”.

Acting as the commander’s ceremony was the operations assistant (Asops) Dankormar Col. Mar Y. Rudy Sulistyanto.

Thousands of general public who packed the location seemed eager to watch the TNI defense equipment on display, such as Radar Surveillance, Turangga, Oerlicon, RM 70 Grad, MRL S, Serpa, MPC Mistral, Astros, Anoa, to Boeing, CN 235, and using Combat F – 16.

In celebrating the 74th anniversary, TNI mobilized 6,806 people consisting of 60 people. In addition, the TNI also deployed 157 units of aircraft belonging to the Army (AD), Navy (AL), and Air Force (AU). (T/Ais/P2)
