Jakarta, MINA – Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno LP Marsudi is scheduled to attend the 14th Asia-Europe Meeting with the theme “Asia and Europe Together for Effective Multilateralism” in Madrid, Spain on 15-16 December 2019.
The matter that will be the concern of Indonesian Foreign Minister at the event is related to connectivity, specifically utilizing the economic values of cooperation between the Asian and European regions.
“Hard connectivity or the development of physical connectivity, soft connectivity in terms of how we can utilize the economic values of cooperation between the Asian and European regions,” said Teuku Faizasyah, Spokesperson of Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press briefing, Jakarta on Tuesday.
In addition, regarding discrimination experienced by Indonesian palm oil (CPO), Faizasyah said there was a possibility that it would be discussed, but in the context of a bilateral meeting.

So far, several Foreign Ministers from European countries have proposed bilateral meetings with the Indonesian Foreign Ministers, including Austria, Denmark, Kazakhstan, and Finland. (L/Sj/P2)
