Indonesian Artists and SPM to Build School Building For Palestinians

Tangerang, MINA – Indonesian humanitarian Palestinian Friends Calling Agency (SPM)  collaborates with a United Nation organization specifically dealing with the problem of Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) in distributing aid to the West Bank, Palestine, on January 20-27, 2019.

Indonesian National religion singer and artists, Opick and Dik Doank participate in the distribution into this humanitarian aid.

“This humanitarian aid is a form of donation from Indonesians through SPM. For that, we thank you for the support and trust of the Indonesians to us, “explained SPM President Amrozi M. Rais, after the Palestinian Humanitarian Concert with Opick and Sabyan at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Banten, Sunday.

In a written statement received by MINA on Tuesday, Amrozi explained that SPM wants to build school building for Palestinians students in the West Bank.

“We hope this assistance will help to improve children’s education in Palestine. This program is part of a number of aids that have been distributed by SPM in previous years to various Palestinian refugee points,” he said.

Furthermore, Amrozi said that this year is the third year of SPM’s distribution for Palestinian refugee areas. Previously, in 2017 and at the end of 2018, SPM also distributed aid to a number of Palestinian refugee camps.

In the past few years, SPM has invited a number of national artists such as Opick, Hedi Yunus, Melly Goeslaw, Dik Doank, and others, to actively engage in Palestinian humanitarian fundraising concerts in various regions in Indonesia.

SPM mobilizes more humanitarian assistance and provides awareness to the Indonesians about the Palestinian problem, which until now has been suffered by the Israeli occupation. (T/Sj/P2)
