Jakarta, 6 Raamadan 1438/1 June 2017 (MINA) – The Indonesian government has condemned the bombing incident near the diplomatic complex in Kabul, Afghanistan, Antara News reported, citing a press statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs received here on Wednesday.

According to information received from local authorities in Kabul, the attack killed at least 90 people and wounded 380 others.

The Indonesian government has expressed its deep condolences towards the families of the victims and the wounded.

The bomb exploded around 2 kilometers from Indonesian Embassy in Kabul. As an indirect after effect, the embassy building received minor damages such as broken window glasses.

According to report from Indonesian Embassy in Kabul, until this news is made, there were no Indonesians among the dead. There are 26 Indonesians currently in Kabul.

The embassy is still coordinating with local authorities regarding the information development after the incident.

They are also communicating with the Indonesians in Kabul and advising them to stay aware, avoiding crowded places and following the local information.
