Jakarta, MINA – Inauguration of President-Vice President 2019-2024 begins. Joko Widodo and Ma’ruf Amin are appointed in the plenary session of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR).
The plenary session of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly in the parliament complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, starts at 3:30 pm local time on Sunday, October 29. The opening was delayed 1 hour from the previous schedule at 14.30 pm.
The event began with singing Indonesia Raya and a Silent which was led by MPR Chair Bambang Soesatyo. After this, the KPU’s decision containing the determination of Jokowi-Ma’ruf as the winner of the 2019 Presidential Election will be readout.
Furthermore, Jokowi and Ma’ruf Amin read their vows.

The Jokowi-Ma’ruf inauguration was attended by prominent figures and state officials. There appears to be the 5th President of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri and the 6th President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
The Rival of Jokowi-Ma’ruf at the 2019 Presidential Election, namely Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Uno were also presented.
Meanwhile, the leaders of friendly countries present included the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, and Raja Eswatini Raja Mswati III.
