Gaza Great March of Return Protest Enters Week 68

Gaza, MINA – Tens of thousands of Palestinians have demonstrated to join Great March of Return week 68 in the Gaza strip on Friday 26 July.

In a statement, the Gaza National Authority for Violation of the Siege called on the people of Gaza to continue taking part in a similar demonstration called the Great Return March.

Palestine Post 24 reported that Israeli occupation forces target an ambulance with rubber bullets in the east of Gaza.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza Israeli occupation also forces injure 56 Palestinians including 22 children and 3 women, 38 of the injuries are wounded with a live bullet.

Thousands of residents gathered near the Gaza-Israel barrier to demonstrate against decades of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories, demanding the return of Palestinian land occupied by Israel.

The weekly rally is calling on Israel to end its tight blockade that has been imposed on the Gaza Strip since Hamas violently seized control of the coastal enclave in 2007.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the Israeli army has killed 306 Palestinians and wounded more than 17,000 others since the outbreak of the rally on the 30 March 2018 ago. (T/Ais/P2)
