Ceasefire ends, Israeli Warplanes Carry Out Airstrikes on Gaza
Gaza, MINA – The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in the Palestinian Gaza Strip ended after there was no renewal of the agreement between the two to extend the pause in fighting until the last moment on Friday.
According to the Quds Press report, the Israeli occupation announced that sirens would sound today, Friday, in settlements around the Gaza Strip.
The occupation army said, according to Israeli media, sirens were heard in the “Holit” settlement in the Gaza Strip.
Sirens sounded in the Gaza Strip after the Israeli occupation army radio announced that warplanes were bombing the entire Gaza Strip.
State media in Gaza confirmed on Friday morning that occupation aircraft launched a series of strikes in the southern Gaza Strip.
Several media in Gaza also confirmed that attacks launched by occupation warplanes targeted the northwest Gaza Strip, while occupation artillery targeted various areas in Gaza City.
The Israeli Zionist aggression attack in the Gaza Strip region resulted in six people being martyred and dozens injured. The martyred and injured arrived at Kamal Adwan Hospital, the only hospital operating in the northern Gaza Strip.
Sources also confirmed that occupation aircraft bombed a number of houses and destroyed their occupants from above in several areas north and south of the Gaza Strip through aircraft bombing and heavy artillery fire.
The new occupation aggression comes after a seven-day temporary humanitarian ceasefire, during which dozens of prisoners were exchanged, including Israeli and Palestinian women and children. (T/RE1/P2)
