CANADA TO ACCEPT 25,000 REFUGEES TILL 2016: PM

Ottawa, 4 Safar 1437/16 November 2015 (MINA) – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said Canada will accept 25,000 Syrian refugees by Jan. 1, 2016.

“Our policy is taking part of the refugees in a whole that contributes to Canada’s common success,” Trudeau said during a session of the Business 20 and Labor 20 meetings within the G20 Summit in Turkey’s southern Antalya province, Anadolu Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The premier also called for giving refugees a chance to contribute to security and stability.

“We want to count them refugees in our success,” he added.

He also said that G20 countries should unite their forces and solve the problems by considering growth for everyone.

Turkey is hosting leaders of 20 major economies (G20) in its southwestern province of Antalya on Sunday and Monday for the 10th summit, which will discuss the world’s biggest political and security crises, including Syria and the mass migration of refugees.
