Jakarta, 1 Dzulhijjah 1435/25 September 2014 (MINA) – The Association of Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies’ (Asita) Bali chapter wants to attract 15,000 foreign tourists during the Timeless Indonesia Festival 2014, to be held on K-land beach, Badung district, Bali, on Nov. 9-15.

“We’ve been communicating with several travel agents to invite their guests to visit the Indonesian Timeless Festival,” said the chairman of Balis Asita, I Ketut Ardana, on Monday as quoted by Antara news agency.

The Timeless Indonesia Festival 2014 is being held for the first time on the island and has a unique concept when compared to other festivals, The Jakarta Post quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The festival will showcase numerous artistic creations, special foods and unique souvenirs of the seven provinces in Indonesia.

The committee chairman of the Indonesian Timeless Festival, Karlinda Syaha, said the festival was a gateway to promote the tourism potential of Indonesia, since the event involved the participation of seven provinces such as East Kalimantan, West Nusa Tenggara, North Sumatra, North Sulawesi, East Java, South Sulawesi and Bali.(T/P009/R03)
