Arab Interior Ministers Condemn Attack on Palestine PM

An explosion occurred on a Gaza road shortly after a convoy carrying Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah.

Tunis, MINA – The Council of Arab Interior Ministers on Wednesday condemned the bomb attack which targeted the convoy of Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamadallah during his visit to the Gaza Strip, KUNA reported.

In a statement, the council’s secretary condemned strongly this “cowardly criminal act” against Hamadallah and a number of senior officials.

It expressed its confidence that Palestinian security apparatuses are able to counter terrorism, thanks to the unity of Palestinians and professionalism of these apparatuses, according to the statement.

The bombing targeted the convoy and wounded seven people of Hamadallah’s accompanying delegation. (T/RS5/RS1)
