Al-Fatah Islamic Boarding Opens Shariah Compliant Market
Cileungsi, Bogor, 23 Jumadil Akhir 1437/02 April 2016 (MINA) – The Al-Fattah Islamic Boarding School opened shariah compliant market on Friday morning at the boarding school yard to cater local population for halal and good food produced and sold in accordance with Islamic teachings.
Immamul Muslimin and Chairman of the Al-Fatah Board of Trustees Yakhsyallah Mansur said that the initial opening of the halalan thatyiban (halal and good) market in which buying and selling made in accordance with Shari’a was aimed at meeting the needs of local community.
Called “Meet Market”, it is an halalan thayyiban market that besides providing halal and healthy food , it should also focus on environmental hygiene, ” Yakhsyallah said when opening the market in the presence of local merchants and residents.
Do not litter because cleanliness is part of faith, the best of one’s faith are those who maintain cleanliness, he said, citing the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
“We open this market with a clean start and we have to keep the cleanliness after the close of trading session”, he added.
He hopes this market will continue every Friday morning, and will be getting bigger by producing healthy and halalan thayyiban food.
“Residents around the schools should come to the market and buy something,” he added.
He also said that the sharia market activity, although it begins with simple conditions, using tables and chairs, will increase in size and becomes a field of da’wah to the Muslims in realizing the market in accordance with Shari’ah. (LT/Imt/R07)
