Israel Bans Secretary General of Fatah Entering Al-Aqsa
Al-Quds, MINA – Israeli police prohibited Fatah Secretary, Shadi Mutwar movement from entering the occupied Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (East Jerusalem) on Tuesday.
Local sources told Ma’an News agency quoted by MINA that Israeli police released Mutwar on Tuesday afternoon, with conditions banned from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque complex for one week.
Mutwar is also scheduled to be questioned next week for an administrative ban.
Israel had previously banned Mutwar from entering the Al-Aqsa compound for 6 months, which ended on Tuesday after being released from prison on several conditions.
Mutwar was detained by Israeli forces on February 1, when on the Israeli-controlled Allenby bridge that crossed between West Bank and Jordan, on the way back from visits to refugee camps in Syria, along with other Fatah secretaries movements in West Bank. (T/Sj/P2)
