Two Palestinians Killed, Baby Injured in Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza

Gaza, MINA – Gaza’s Ministry of Health on Saturday morning announced that two Palestinians were killed after the Israeli warplanes bombed a resistance site south of Gaza city.

Spokesman for the Ministry, Ashraf al-Qedra, said that the bodies of the two martyrs Abdullah al-Ottol, 28, and Mohammed al-Safadi, 30, were transferred to al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, PIC reported.

The Israeli occupation’s F-16 planes waged a series of airstrikes on resistance sites belonging to al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas Movement, in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

A number of Palestinians were reportedly injured in a strike that targeted a Qassam post in the northern Gaza Strip along with a baby who is said to be in a serious condition.

Two other Palestinians named Mahmoud al-Masri, 30, and Maher Atallah, 54, were killed by Israeli fire on Friday in protests near Gaza-1948 occupied Palestine border.

The Israeli army said in a statement that it struck four Hamas sites in the Gaza Strip in response to a rocket attack on Sderot.

The statement noted that Hamas is solely responsible for what happens in the enclave.(R/R04/RS5)
