THAI SCHOLARS: “WE HAVE MAIN DUTY TO UNITE ALL MUSLIMS”

Bogor, 28 Sha’ban 1436/15 Juni 2015 (MINA) – The Muslim Thai scholars, DR. Abdullah Abu Bakar said, each of us has the main duty to build awareness of Muslims all around the world to  unite.

“We have a lot of different perceptions among fellow Muslims that could lead to a split. As Muslims, we should be worried, “said the member of  Islamic Council Committee in Yala province, Pattani, southern Thailand, in Tabligh Akbar organized by Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah), Bogor, Sunday .

“Muslims should unite to get a blessing and help from Allah, but the fact is that some of them even accuse and condemned each other, ” said Abu Bakar.

He warned on Muslims who are expert in religion to lead the union.

The event was organized by Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) to welcome holy month of Ramadan, held for four days in Al-Fatah Boarding School complex, Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java, 11-14 June 2015.

The Agenda includes Panel Discussion, Bazar Sha’ban, Tahfidz Quran competition, Longmarch Love Al-Aqsa, and Tabligh Akbar.

Tabligh Akbar presented some foreign scholars. Those are from the Philippines, Thailand, and the Palestinians, including the Ambassador of Paraguay to Indonesia who has embraced Islam, Cesar Esteban Grillion.(L/P008/R03)
