PALESTINIAN MEETING IN BEIRUT SUPPORTS AL QUDS INTIFADA

Beirut, 11 Safar 1437/23 November 2015 (MINA) – Palestinian factions held a consultation meeting in Beirut on Friday on the sidelines of a conference for the support of Jerusalem Intifada.

The Palestinian factions stressed the necessity to escalate, support, and continue the Jerusalem Intifada, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The meeting was attended by a group of faction leaders including Mousa Abu Marzouk, Jamal Issa, Ali Barakeh and Osama Hamdan from Hamas Movement as well as Abbas Zaki and Fathi Abu al-Ardat from Fatah Movement in addition to representatives of other factions.

The conferees championed Palestinian unity and continuation of consultation and coordination as well as exerting efforts to boost the confrontation against the Israeli occupation. They also stressed the importance of supporting, continuing, and escalating the intifada, but did not discuss the internal reconciliation.

The annual General Arab Conference was held in support of the Palestinian people’s intifada in Beirut on Friday with the participation of about 250 Lebanese, Arab and Palestinian figures.(T/P008/R03)
