Nablus, 28 Rabi’ul Akhir 1436/18 February 2015 (MINA) – The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at noontime Tuesday (17/2) apprehended a Palestinian girl at the Zaatara checkpoint, in the West Bank city of Nablus.

By-standers at the scene said the IOF closed the Zaatara checkpoint, pitched south of Nablus, and denied Palestinian vehicles access out of and into the city, Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The Anin al-Kayd media network identified the abducted girl as the 21-year-old Iman Ezzedine Amarna, a native of Jenin’s town of Yabad and a student at Abu Dis-based Al-Quds University.

The IOF stopped a vehicle carrying Iman and a number of passengers onboard and checked their personal IDs shortly before they kidnapped the young lady and dragged her to an unidentified location, the same source added.

Iman’s father, ex-prisoner Ezzedine Amarna, had been locked up at the Israeli occupation jails several times before despite his sight-loss. (T/P006/P3)
