Jetskier Aqsa Suta Clinches Indonesia’s 12th Gold Medal

Jakarta, MINA – Indonesian Jetskier Aqsa Sutan Aswar presented Indonesia with its 12th gold medal after outclassing nine competitors in the jetski endurance open runabout event on Sunday.

In the third and last round of the competition on Sunday, Aqsa finished in second place behind the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Ali Allanjawi. Aqsa’s older brother, Aero Sutan Aswar, was in third position, asiangames2018.id reported.

Despite finishing second in the last round, Aqsa, won the gold medal as he collected the highest total of 1,148 points from three rounds of the competition.

The UAE’s Ali took home silver after achieving a total of 1,132 points, while Thailand’s Footrakul Suphathat settled for bronze with 1,088 points.(LT/R04/P2)
