Israeli Police Attack Palestinian TV Office in Jerusalem

Jerusalem, MINA – Intelligence officers from Israeli Occupation Police on Friday morning broke into Palestinian TV Office in Jerusalem, arrested the TVs Crews and also seized filming and broadcasting equipment.

“Israeli intelligence officers entered the” Good Morning Jerusalem “studio on the Mount of Olives, and arrested the show’s producer Dana Abu Shamsiya, cameraman Ameer Abed-Rabbu, and former detainee Mohammad Al-Abbasi, who hosted the event,” said Nader Bibars, Palestine TV Producer, as quoted by Wafa.

Bibars added Israeli police also arrested Palestinian TV reporter Christine Rinawi and cameraman Ali Yassin around Bab Al-Amoud (Damascus Gate).

Israeli Occupation Police action refers to the instructions of Israeli Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan. They argued that Palestinian TV planned to hold activities under the auspices of Palestinian Authority. (T/Sj/P2)
