Gaza, 26 Ramadhan 1438/21 June 2017 (MINA) – The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) continued on Wednesday to gradually reduce electricity supplies to Gaza Strip for the third day running, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.

Gaza Power Authority said Wednesday morning that Israeli authorities further reduced the electricity that it supplies to the Strip by 8 additional megawatts.

The total output of Israeli electricity grids feeding Gaza Strip has been reduced by 24 megawatts, the sources revealed.

The authority pointed out that Israel stepped up its arbitrary measures against Gaza by refusing to repair the damaged power lines, leaving large parts of the Strip in complete darkness for more than two hours on Monday.

The Power Authority held Israel responsible for the serious repercussions of such measures.(T/R04/RS5)
