Gaza, MINA – The Israeli occupation forces have been put on high alert on Friday along the eastern border with Gaza at the pretext of preventing any attempt to plant explosive devices during protests to be held near the security fence.

Last Sunday, four Israeli soldiers suffered injuries when an explosive device exploded suddenly near the security fence in southeastern Gaza, PIC reported.

The Israeli army claimed then that the bomb was attached to a Palestinian flag during the protest that happened there last Friday afternoon, February 16.

According to Israel’s Channel 10, the Israeli army has fears that more homemade explosives could be stashed or buried somewhere as protesters get near the border fence.
