ISESCO Calls for Nobel Peace Prize to be Awarded to New Zealand PM
Rabbat, MINA – Director-General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri called for New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, UNA reported on Monday (24/3).
Through her wonderful humanitarian attitude and wise policy towards the terrorist attack at two mosques in Christchurch that killed 50 worshipers and wounded dozens more, Altwaijri said Ms. Ardern has proved to the world that terrorism has no religion and that it is a criminal act perpetrated by criminals, irrespective of their religious and ethnic affiliations.
The ISESCO chief added that the New Zealand Prime Minister has other humane attitudes towards human rights and dignity in various parts of the world, which demonstrate her noble character and high morals as well as her eligibility for the Nobel Peace Prize.(R/R04/P2)
