Kuala Lumpur, MINA — Indonesia will take on Australia in the U-16 Asia Cup 2018 quarterfinals at Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur on Monday (October 1), Antara News reported.
Australia stepped into the quarterfinals after beating Afghanistan 4-0 on Friday to finish second in group D with six points from three matches.
In group D, Australia only lost to South Korea 0-3. Meanwhile, Indonesia moved on to the U-16 Asia Cup quarterfinals after they played to a goalless draw against India in the group C final match at the stadium the previous day.

With the goalless draw, Indonesia confirmed it would lead the group with five points from three matches, while India qualified for the group of eight in second place, also with five points from three matches.
South Korea saw their third victory in group D on Friday after outplaying Iraq 2-0 at the Arena Stadium of Malaya University in Kuala Lumpur.
The result put South Korea atop group D, with nine points from three matches.
