INDONESIA FLIES LAST PILGRIMS DEPARTURE

Jakarta, 4 Dhulhijjah 1435 H/28 September 2014 M (MINA) –  Indonesian government to send its last departure of pilgrims, Sunday.

The entire Indonesian pilgrims  has been  departed to Saudi Arabia. Since the first departure on Monday (01/09) until Sunday (28/9), a total of 154,467 pilgrims and 1,875 officers had flown to the holy land, Mecca.

“According to schedule from Saudi Arabia authority, Indonesian has 12 flights in the last departure this year,” Indonesian ministry of religious affairs said in a statement.

Nine flights have landed in King Abdul Aziz airport with the embarkation number 81 (JKS-81), Jakarta embarkation 63 (SUB-63), Ujung Pandang Embarkation 26 (UPG-26), Jakarta Embarkation 82 (JKS-82), Surabaya embarkation 26 (SUB-26), Jakarta Embarkation 83 (JKS-83), Banjarmasin Embarkation 12 (BDJ-12), Jakarta Jakarta 24 (JKG-24), Jakarta embarkation 70 (SOC-70).

There were three flights that have not landed, namely Banjarmasin Embarkation 13 (BDJ-13) which is scheduled landing at 12:05 pm Saudi Arabia time; Solo Embarkation 71 (SOC-71) which is scheduled landing at 15:25 pm Saudi Arabia time and Ujung Pandang Embarkation 27 (UPG-27) which is scheduled landing at 17:15 pm local time.

There were 58 pilgrims who have died in the Holy Land so far, including 52 regular pilgrims and 6 special pilgrims until Sunday (on September 28). About 156 pilgrims were sick and undergoing treatment. It consisted of 124 pilgrims at the Indonesian Hajj Medical Center (BPHI) and 32 pilgrims in Saudi Arabia Hospital (RSAS).
