Ramallah, 22 Rabi’ul Awwal 1436/13 January 2015 (MINA) – India Monday contributed $4 million in support to the Palestinian Authority’s budget, said the Representative Office of India to Palestine in a press release.
The grant was presented by Representative of India Mahesh Kumar to Premier Rami Hamdallah during their meeting at the Premier’s Office in Ramallah, Wafa News Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
Kumar and Hamdallah discussed developments in the region and the means to strengthen bilateral relationship between India and Palestine.
Hamdallah expressed deep appreciation for India’s continuous and firm support for the cause of Palestinian people.

Hamdallah praised India for its contribution in human resource development, capacity building, and development assistance to Palestine.
Kumar took the opportunity to reiterate India’s strong support for the cause of Palestine and solidarity with the Palestinian people for their struggle for a sovereign, independent, viable and united state of Palestine.(T/P008/R03)
