IMAAM YAKHSHALLAH BELIEVES THAT THE UMMAH CAN BE UNITED
Jakarta, 17 Shawwal 1436/2 August 2015 (MINA) – Imaam of Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah) in Jakarta, Indonesia, expressed his belief in the possibility of the unity of the Muslim ummah in the world.
“The Muslim ummah can be united, because in its essence the Muslim is one ummah,” said Imaam Yalhshallah Mansur in front of thousands of people in an after Ied gathering held by Radio Silaturahim on Saturday.
Quoting the quran, the leader who continuously calls for the liberation of Al Aqsa mosque said that, those who have recited the shahadah are brothers and sisters in faith.
At the same event, the adviser of Radio Silaturahim, Habib Hussein al Attas explained that the Muslim ummah has long been divided due to the rise of fanatical movements.
“We have long been divided. The rise of fanatical movements has greatly divided us,” said Habib Hussein who was the main speaker in the event.
He believes that Muslim movements who have created animosity among the ummah has done nothing but weakens the might of the ummah, and this is later used by the enemies of Islam.
Refering to the Quran, Habib Hussein stressed that the prophets and ulemas can never unite the human hearts.
“only Allah can do it,” he concluded. (L/NMT/P001)
