Imaam of Al-Haram: Indonesians the Most Orderly Pilgrims

Mecca, MINA – One of the priests of Al-Haram Sheikh DR Hasan bin Abdul Hamid Bukhari delivered a message and his impression to Indonesian pilgrims.

Ihram news reported Sheikh Hasan considered Indonesian pilgrims to be the most numerous but most orderly and neat.

“Indonesian pilgrims are neat, tawadhu, and humble. Even though the numbers are from the whole world, but they are neat and orderly so it is easy for the Saudi Arabian government to organize the Hajj pilgrimage,” said Sheikh Hasan in his office at University Campus Umm Al Qura, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Sunday, July 21.

Sheikh Hasan said many Indonesian pilgrims had come to the city of Mecca. Therefore, the government of Saudi Arabia was very happy and welcomed the arrival of Indonesian pilgrims to carry out one of the pillars of Islam.

“They are guests of Lord,” Sheikh Hasan said.

Sheikh Hasan gave his message to pilgrims from Indonesia. He asked for the congregation to recall the purpose of coming to the city of Makkah, which is to create Muslim unity.

During the pilgrimage, Indonesian worshipers will gather with other pilgrims from around the world. “They all gathered in Mecca regardless of skin colour, ethnicity, and race. Show brotherhood among Muslims,” ​​said Sheikh Hasan.

Sheikh Dr Hasan bin Abdul Hamid Bukhari is one of the priests at Al-Haram Mosque, Macca. He is also the great-grandson of the hadith priests, Imam Bukhari.

At the Umm Al Qura University campus, he served as dean at Arabic Language Faculty. Meanwhile, at Al-Haram Mosque, besides being a priest, he is also the head of Idarah al-Muadzin or a unit of 20 muezzins.
