“Gowes to Al-Aqsa” Depart from Al-Fatah, Bogor to Lampung Province
Bogor, MINA – As Dozens of cycling members to Al-Aqsa departed from the gate of Al-Fatah Pasirangin Islamic Boarding School, Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java, Thursday, to Natar, South Lampung Province.
“Gowes to Al-Aqsa” is held in order to attend Tabligh Akbar of Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah) which will be held on April 18-28 at the An-Nubuwwah Mosque, Al-Fatah Islamic Boarding School Complex, Negarartu Village, Natar, South Lampung Province.
“This action is part of the continuation of longmarch Ghazwah Fath Al-Aqsa movement that we planned in 2006,” said Bustamin Utje, Chair of Ukhuwah Al-Fatah Rescue (UAR), in his opening remarks.
“By saying bismillaahir rohmaanir rohiim, we depart “Gowes Al-Aqsa”, Allahu akbar,” shouted Utje.
“Gowes to Al-Aqsa”, according to Utje, will continue to run, up to Aqsa Mosque, telling people throughout the world about the obligation to liberate Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine from colonialism.
Meanwhile, in order to foster fighting spirit to Al-Aqsa, Al-Fatah’s students accompanied the team at Jl.Narogong highway, Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java.
According to the Committee, the participants will cover distance about 50 km from Cileungsi to Tanjung Priok Port, with an estimated travel time of 3 hours.
Including two participants who had pedaled their bicycle from the city of Bandung, West Java, more than 80 km for 12 hours, the day before departure to Lampung.
From Tanjung Priok, the action of cycling will take the ship to Panjang Port, Bandar Lampung.
Then, other participants will welcome at Panjang port, to continue the journey to Al-Fatah Muhajirun Islamic Boarding School.
The total distance of Bogor-Natar is estimated at more than 100 km.
“Gowes to Al-Aqsa” was a cycling team which was inaugurated by Imamul Muslimin Yakhsyallah Mansur on 2 March.
The selected team members will continue the journey to Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, by road.
Administrative preparation, starting a visa, route maping, coordination, and related needs, are being prepared by the committee. (TL/Sj/R04)
