Gazan: Great March of Return Gets World Support

Cileungsi, Bogor Regency, MINA – Mohamad Qaddaura, a Gazan who is visiting Indonesia said the Great March of Return March (GMR) action carried out by Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip now produced tangible results in then form of support from the international community.

“Right Now, GMR has become an issue of international community.. They support our actions, “Qaddaura told MINA reporters at a meeting with Imaamul Muslimin, Yakhsyallah Mansur at Al-Fatah IslamicBoarding School, Cileungsi, Bogor Regency, Friday.

Qaddaura, who is currently pursuing doing his doctoral studies at an university in Malaysia, showed evidences of supports from international community for GMR, including the comments of figures from various countries  over the action.

“Many figures from Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, and European countries have expressed their support for the GMR action. “It is a motivation for us Palestinians to continue to carry out GMR actions,” he explained.

Another example is the manifestation of support from the international community by intensifying the boycott of products belonging to illegal Jewish settlers on Palestinian land. “Their products are not sold on the international market because they are known to be the products of illegal settlers from spoiled areas belonging to the Palestinian people,”he explained.

The Great Return March (GMR) is a Palestinian movement that aims to implement the right of the Palestinian people to return to their original homes, villages and cities after the tragedy of the expulsion by Zionist Israel in 1948.

GMR complies with the relevant UN resolutions, specificallyarticle 194 which calls for the return of Palestinian refugees to their own home towns. The action also aims to mobilize support from the world community in applying the values ​​of justice, equality and peace. (L / P2/RS5)
