Da’wah is Important for Humankind to Know Tauhid, Says Dr Zakir Naik

Bandung, 10 Rajab 1438/7 April 2017 (MINA) – Islamic preacher Dr. Zakir Abdul Karim Naik has underlined the importance of Islamic propagation (Da’wah)  for the people to recognize tauhid or the oneness of Allah, the Qur’an and Sunnah.

“It is also important to know the background of the da’wah of Islam,” Zakir said in a lecture entitled “Da’wah or Destruction,” at the Indonesian Education University (UPI) Gymnasium in Bandung, Sunday (2/4).

He reminded how important for the people to realize that Islam is the only guidance of life for mankind until the end of time, he said in front of thousands of attendees.

The preacher from Mumbai,India, was delivered his lecture for about a half hour and got a briefing. Zakir Naik also discuss comparative religion, the challenges Muslims to face relegation faith, and how to understand tolerance in Islam corridor.

“Tolerance has limits, when Muslims say Qul Huwallahu Ahad, then he congratulated Christmas. Then, his Qul Huwallahu Ahad will void, because he also acknowledges God’s children, ” Zakir Naik concluded.

After that the Public Relations officer of Zakir NaikVisit Budi Setiawan nvited participants to ask questions, with the priority given to non-Muslim attendees to put forward questions.

“A number of non-Muslim participants from different religious backgrounds among others, Catholic, Protestant Christians, Atheists, and Buddha asked some questions about God, Islam and Jesus,” said Budhi.

Budhi added that, from a dozen askers, four of whom eventually have embraced Islam and directly reciting the two shahada guided by Zakir Naik.

They are Danalia Permata Sari (Buddhist), Novita Luciana (Catholic), Kevin (Catholic) and Deni Saputra (atheist).

“The atmosphere was so full of emotion when the converts recite the shahada. Many of the participants were moved to tears, “said Budhi.

They read the shahada with sobbing as the Indian preacher guided them.
