Clinton Holds 274 Electoral College Votes, Trump 170 – Final NBC Survey

Washington,08 Safar 1438/08 November 2016 (MINA) – Hilary Clinton holds 274 nationwide electoral college votes out of the total 538, while Donald Trump holds 170, suggested a survey by NBC News released a day ahead of US presidential election day.

According to Kuna news agency, in order to win the race for the White House, the nominees will need to achieve over 270 electoral college votes, said the Monday report, which mentioned that 94 votes were undecided.

In its final poll, Clinton leads 44-40 percent, and has overwhelming 53-38 percent majority support amongst women, while the Republican edges his Democratic rival by 47-42 percent amongst men.

Former secretary of state, Clinton, is also hugely favoured amongst blacks and Latinos, with 86-7 and 65-20 percent advantages respectively.

The real estate mogul is more popular amongst whites, leading 53-38 percent against Clinton.

Trump is also the better choice for president amongst whites with no college degrees, garnering 60 percent compared to 30 percent for Clinton, while she does better amongst white college graduates, 51-41.

She is also more popular amongst 18-34 year-olds, leading Trump by 55-32 percent, while the Republican does better amongst senior Americans, 49-42. (T/R07/R01)
