Jakarta, MINA – Chinese sprinter Su Bingtian took home the gold medal and became the fastest man in Asia after winning the men’s 100 meter final of the 2018 Asian Games at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on Sunday evening. His time of 9.92 seconds is also a new Asian Games record.
According to Asiangames2018.id, Tosin Ogunode of Qatar won the silver medal, recording a time of 10.00 seconds.
Meanwhile, the bronze medal went to Japanese sprinter Ryota Yamagata who also finished with a time of 10.00 seconds.
Indonesian sprinter Lalu Muhammad Zohri finished in seventh position after booking a personal best time of 10.20 seconds.(LT/R04/P2)
