Australia Gives $500,000 to Indonesia Quake Relief

 

Sydney, MINA– Autstralia has provided $500,000 to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) to help those affected by a devastating earthquake and tsunami at the central Sulawesi island, AAP reported,

Prime Minister Scott Morrison told reporters on Tuesday that Australia’s ambassador to Indonesia is consulting on even more support, with announcements due soon.

At least 844 people have died as a result of Friday’s disaster.( (T/RS5/RS1)
