Ankara, MINA – A fundraising campaign managed to raise nearly US$ 9.4 million for victims of the terror attacks in Christchurch, New Zealand, last month.
According the Victim Support group, as quoted by Anadolu Agency (AA) more than 95,000 people from 139 countries around the world donated funds to the Christchurch shooting victims.
At least 50 Muslims were killed and dozens injured on March 15 when a terrorist opened fire on worshipers at Al Noor and Linwood mosques in Christchurch, including four children.
So far, there are still 22 victims who are trying to recover in hospitals, including a four-year-old girl who suffered a serious injury. (T/Sj/P2)
