SOFYAN BETAWI’S HOTEL APPOINTED AS WORLD’S BEST ISLAMIC HOTEL

Jakarta, 8 Muharram 1437/21 October 2015 (MINA) – Sofyan Betawi’s Hotel headquartered at the Jakarta capital city appointed as the best Islamic hotel in the world.

They won the category of World’s Best Family Friendly Hotel in World Halal Travel Awards 2015 at the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The prestigious and exclusive event represents the fastest growing sector of global tourism. This award was given to the best Islamic travel and tourism services on international scale.

Sofyan Betawi’s Hotel, became the winner after beating Gloria Hotel Dubai and the Landmark Hotel Dubai. The owner who is also the Commissioner of Hotel Sofyan, Riyanto Sofyan, told Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) Wednesday, directly from Dubai.

The application of sharia in the hospitality bussiness makes a profit. Nowadays, it becomes Muslims way of life.

“The number of income increased until 70-80 percent since he applied Islamic Hotel,” said Riyanto Sofyan, who also serves as the Chairman of the Sharia Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHSIN).
