QASSAM BRIGADE SUCCESSFULLY SHOOTS DOWN ISRAELI DRONE

Gaza City, 30 Shawwal 1435/25 August 2014 (MINA) – Ezzeddine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Palestinian Hamas resistance movement said its fighters successfully shot down Zionist Israeli drone in Shujaiyah, the eastern part of Gaza City, Monday.

“They did it in the joint operations with Al-Quds Brigades to attack Israeli occupation regime military camps in Erez, Palestinian territory controlled by Israeli occupation regime” al-Qassam said in a statement received by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) in Gaza.

This was the third time, the Palestinian fighters in Gaza succeeded in shooting down Israeli occupation regime drones. Earlier, in 2012 Israeli aggression against Gaza, Al-Qassam also did the same thing, and the incident was being documented.

On 3 November 2013, the Al-Qassam fighters also successfully took over the control of Israeli drone and they managed to land safely it inside Gaza area.

Al-Qassam Brigades asserted that they took those actions in order to reply the crimes and ongoing barbaric acts committed by the Zionist Israelis against the people of Gaza and West Bank.

On its official statement, Hamas movement also promised not to remain silent over Israeli occupation regime actions in Palestinian lands. They also promised to make Gaza as a hell to fire on the invaders tanks and troops, thus they would think thousand times to attack the blockaded territory.

Recently, Al-Qassam successfully attacked a number of Israeli military camps. They attacked Kissufim, Beersheba, and Nirim in east Gaza with Haun 107 rockets.

While in Ashkol and Erez north Bayt Hanoun, the Hamas fighters attacks resulted in many Israeli victims. Israeli media said six soldiers were wounded and three of them in bad condition.

Permanent ceasefire talks brokered by Egypt failed due to treachery of the Zionists. They attacked Gaza Strip three hours before the expiry of the truce last week.

Israelis created false news, by that Gaza militants fired three rockets into Israel beforehand.

Israel did it because they were targeting al Qassam chief Muhammad al-Dhaif in the in Shaikh Ridwan attack, Gaza City, Tuesday night.

As a result of the attack, at least four people have martyred, including al-Dhaif’s wife and his two children, while 15 other civilians were injured. (L/K01/R03/P3)
