Indonesia to Face Australia and Bahrain During Ramadan in World Cup Qualifiers

Jakarta, MINA – The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has officially released the schedule for two crucial matches of the Indonesian NationalĀ Team in the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, which will take place during Ramadan.

The Garuda squad is set to face Australia and Bahrain on March 20 and 25, 2025. These matches will also mark the debut of Patrick Kluivert as the new head coach of Indonesiaā€™s national team.

The first match will see Indonesia take on Australia at Sydney Football Stadium on Thursday, March 20, 2025, with kick-off scheduled at 8:10 PM local time (4:10 PM WIB).

Five days later, Indonesia will host Bahrain at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, with kick-off at 8:45 PM WIB.

These two important matches will occur during the holy month of Ramadan 1446 H, when most of Indonesia’s Muslim players and supporters will be observing fasting.
