Ramallah, MINA – Palestinian protesters commemorate ‘Rage Day’ by protesting the brutal torture of a Palestinian prisoner during interrogation by the Shin Bet, Israel’s domestic intelligence agency.

Previously, Amnesty International called it “a despicable crime,” Press TV reported.

In the occupied West Bank, Israeli police attacked protesters using tear gas, sound bombs, and rubber-coated bullets on Tuesday, October 1.

Dozens of protesters must be treated for inhalation of tear gas after an attack by Israeli forces, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

Up to 300 protesters took part in a demonstration in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Israeli forces also clashed with protesters and activists, who gathered outside the hospital where a detainee named Samer Al-Arbid (44) was injured being treated in occupied East Jerusalem.

Al-Arbid was arrested last week on suspicion of being involved in a deadly bomb attack near Israeli settlements in the northeastern city of Ramallah in the West Bank.

However, the father of three children was hospitalized on Friday with beating scars on his body, broken ribs, and severe kidney failure. (T/Sj/P2)
