SQABM Holds Islamic Health Seminar

Bandar Lampung, MINA – Al-Quran Shuffah College Abdullah Bin Mas’ud (SQABM) held an Islamic health seminar on Saturday.

The seminar held at the Sheraton hotel, Bandar Lampung which was attended by 153 participants from various agencies and health activists, one of them was a Member of Indonesian Medical Herbal Medicine Association (PDHMI).

The seminar was the first in Indonesia. “The Qur’an talks about medicine, and now, SQABM brings herbal medical experts to convey their knowledge,” said Ir. Heri Budianto, as chairman of Islamic health seminar committee.

Meanwhile, Indonesian Minister of Health in his remarks represented by DR. dr. Ina Rosalina Dadan, urged the community to adopt healthy lifestyle.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ansih Hendra Astuti,  invited participants and community to conduct GERMAS (Movement for Healthy Living Communities).

GERMAS is a systematic and planned action carried out simultaneously by all components of nation with awareness, willingness and ability to behave in a healthy manner.

The seminar was a series of activities of Tabligh Akbar 1440 H which took place at the Al-Fatah Muhajirun Islamic Boarding School.

Tabligh Akbar Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) This is an annual event that is routinely held to welcome the holy month of Ramadan. (TL/Sj/R04)
