OIC Condemns Las Vegas Mass Shooting

Jeddah, MINA – Secretary-General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen strongly denounced the shooting attack on an outdoor concert in Las Vegas city last night.

“This is an abhorrent crime against innocent civilians,” KUNA reported, citing his statement on Monday night.

Al-Othaimeen reaffirmed the stance of the OIC against all forms of violence and terrorism.

He stressed that terrorism is associated with no particular faith, race or nationality, highlighting the need of concerted efforts to combat terrorism on the local, regional and international levels.

The OIC chief expressed condolences for the families of the victims and wished the injured quick recovery. (T/RS5/RS1)
