Ankara, 28 Dzulhijjah 1437/30 September 2016 (MINA) – Turkey and Saudi Arabia are to scale up anti-terror cooperation, Binali Yildirim – Turkey’s prime minister – announced on Thursday.

Speaking in Ankara after meeting with Saudi Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad bin Nayef, Yildirim suggested that there would be greater promotion of the Turk-Saudi Coordination Council, Middle East Monitor (MEMO) reported.

Nayef also focused on Turkey’s “key role” of the alliance in counter-terrorism.

Nayef went on to further meetings with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.  (T/P008/R07)
