WE WANT ONE STATE FOR ALL PALESTINIANS: HAMAS CHIEF
Gaza, 4 Ramadhan 1436/21 June 2015 (MINA) – Member of Hamas Movement’s political bureau Dr. Mussa Abu Marzouk denied Saturday PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s recent statements in which he charged Hamas of coordinating with Israel to establish a state in Gaza.
Abbas’s claims are a new attempt to escape from his responsibilities towards the Gaza Strip, Abu Marzouk said in a Facebook post, Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
The problem is that his charges are in real practiced by Abbas himself, and even more worse, he added. Abbas’s security coordination with the occupation mainly targets Hamas that does not recognize Israel and fought three wars against it, he added.
“Mr. President, Hamas does not seek an independent state in Gaza, but a state that gathers all Palestinians. You should not escape from your responsibilities towards the besieged strip of Gaza under such pretexts”.
Earlier Friday, PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas accused Hamas of reaching a long-term agreement with Israel to establish an independent state in Gaza. (T/P006/R03)
